Intermittent monitor startup and missing PnP info using DVI

On my desk I run multiple monitors and have done for many years. I find when doing web design or programming it really helps to have the code on one screen, the test system on another and any reference material in the third. It kinda segregates the work and allows me to get an overview without switching applications all the time. However having multiple monitors made the problem I was about to experience even more of a pain.

Fixing Netgear DG834N Problems

Pathetic WiFi range? Locking up all the time? Power light going red when you restart? - does this sound like your experience of the Netgear DG834N? Have you sent back your router three or four times and each time had the same problem with the new units? Feeling like maybe its just you because there are hundreds of people on the forums saying how good it is?

Gizmo of the Month - JCB Toughphone / Sonim XP1

People often say to me: "Why can't I just buy an ordinary phone which is reliable and easy to use without all the fancy gizmos, cameras and stuff which just make it go wrong?". Well this perhaps isn't quite what they meant but its kinda cool anyway and providing it's as tough as I'm sure they will say it is, it could be useful for a whole bunch of people.
